The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) has introduced some new requirements with respect to warranties against defects for goods supplied from January 1st 2012.

The goods that you have purchased come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Full details of your consumer rights may be found at www.consumerlaw.gov.au

Where you have purchased goods and the manufacturer has provided a warranty against defects (Manufacturer’s Warranty), that warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies under law in relation to the goods.

The warranty given by the manufacturer differs from the warranty we provide.

If you wish to make a claim or are unsure of how to go about making a claim, please contact the dealer as listed above in the first instance and we will do our very best to assist you with making a valid claim.

Any claim against a manufacturer’s warranty will of course need to be within the warranty period as stated on the product and time periods will apply in making a valid claim.
